2021 NCR Fall Getaway Weekend -- Green Mountain Gallivant -- Sept 10 - 12, 2021
Our neighbors to the west, Vermont and New York, offer delights for the Porsche enthusiast, and many of them can be found in the vicinity of Manchester, VT and nearby eastern New York. Our Getaway Weekend will feature a group drive of roads to bring joy to both driver and navigator with curves galore combined with scenic vistas. Perhaps we will find a cheese shop or two along our route so you can sample Vermont’s best, or after lunch might we find the elusive Maple Creemee to cool our palates?
On Friday, Sept. 10, make your way to Manchester by a route of your choosing. Our group drive of curves and hills will occupy Saturday morning and early afternoon, with lunch en route. After Sunday breakfast, say your good-byes and explore as you wish or head for home.
We plan a Welcome dinner the evening of Sept. 10 (6 PM at Raven’s Den Steakhouse & Taproom) and a Group Dinner the evening of Sept. 11 (7:30 PM at Johnny's See Restaurant), both being opportunities to socialize with fellow travelers and strategize or recap driving experiences. (Note upgrade for Group Dinner restaurant. Times for dinners set to accommodate restaurant constraints.)
Lodging at the Palmer House has been arranged for our group at discounted rates of $219.00 (1 bed), $239.00 (2 beds), and $329.00 (suite) plus taxes per night. A hot breakfast and free WiFi are included. Manchester has much to offer — including (1) Hildene, home of Robert Todd Lincoln, son of Abraham and Mary; (2) the Orvis Flagship Store and other venues related to fly fishing; (3) Equinox Mountain Skyline Drive; (4) Southern Vermont Arts Center; (5) Manchester Hot Glass (glass-blowing classes available); and (6) Manchester Designer Outlets — so your time outside of your Porsche can be filled with activity.

Event requirements
READ CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY:
- Drivers must be at least 18 years of age, must have a valid driver’s license, and be a PCA member or affiliate.
- Guest registration requires prior approval of the NCR Rally Chair (Rally@ncr-pca.org).
- You must read and agree to adhere to PCA Minimum Driving Tour Standards.
- You must certify that you have no known physical or mental problems that might jeopardize yourself or others if you participate in this event.
- You must agree to proper mask wearing when outside your car.
- You must agree to cancel or notify the registrar if you cannot attend this event.
All Adults are required to complete a digital SpeedWaiver prior to event day. At Check-In for the mandatory Drivers Meeting, each participant will be required to display their digital SpeedWaiver Credential on their smartphone. At this time PCA has not approved SpeedWaivers for Minors, so only those 18 or older may participate. Sorry, but No Excetioins.
