NCR/PCA - Season Opener at NHMS

New Hampshire Motor Speedway

About this event

It’s been a long snowy winter and you’ve spent too many nights on a cold damp garage floor getting everything just right. It is time to finish up those procrastinated upgrades and come out and play. North Country Region (NCR) is pleased to kick off the Drivers Education season with an event for everybody. We will be holding a three day event with full DE activities as well a special Car Control Clinic and class room activities for beginners.

Friday is an advanced day for the Red, Black, and White run groups

Saturday is a special day. While a regular DE event for all run groups, we will be featuring special activities for beginners as well  those with just a few track days under their belt. If you have never attended a DE and would like to learn about it in a safe and low stress environment. this is the day for you to get your feet wet.  Morning activities Include extended classroom sessions in performance driving techniques, skid pad and slalom training and track time with a PCA instructor.  The afternoon will have the beginner group participating in the DE track activities.

Sunday activities follow a normal DE format.

On Saturday evening kick back and relax with your fellow drivers to share the day's stories and experiences at a special social dinner event.

The dining event requires advanced reservations.

Hey, we may have just lucked out by getting a late April date..........the sno's should be off all your daily drivers by now.

Please Note

  • We have instituted a deferred payment option. While your payment information is collected when you register, you will not be charged any sooner than 30 days prior to the event.
  • All of Fridays participants must present their car for tech inspection in the morning, no exceptions.
  • Helmets Snell rated 2010 or newer are required.
  • The NHMS sound limit is 99db.

NHMS is our home track, and it is the site of many televised races, including Sprint Cup. What is not usually shown on TV is their 1.6 mile road course with 12 turns and some exciting elevation changes making for a good learning environment for Novices and a challenging and technical drive for our advanced drivers.
