NCR Flagging & Fire School

Virginia International Raceway

About this event

Come join us February 22nd for the NCR Flagging & Fire School from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

VIR's Kart Track will be transformed into a Worker's Playground where youngsters and oldsters will have the most fun flagging day of the year!

It's been said that, "Play is the work of children."  At the Flagging & Fire School we can all be kids again!

This learning format will simulate an actual road racing event for many specaities including Race Chair, Start, Fire Rescue, Pit, Grid and F&C.  We'll have real race car drivers and some students driving speedy little karts on a natural terrain kart track.  Who knows what crazy situations will pop-up in front of you?

We'll have a real vehicle to burn and plenty of hands-on race cars to practice our first responder techniques.

Brand Newbies and Seasoned Veterans are coming to this event.  (See rules for minors below.)  Everyone interested in being a better Race Official may attend.  No Know-It-Alls allowed!

We'll have pizza for lunch at Aunt Millie's courtesy of the North Carolina Region and an event social back at Aunt Millie's for leftovers and drinks--dutch treat.

Click the CONTINUE button below to begin your journey to the Worker's Playground!

A drawing was held February 10th for Student Kart Drivers.  Don't delay, sign up today!  Pleanty of openings are available.  This school will close when all openings are taken.
