Memphis International Raceway

About this event

NASA Mid South presents the 1st event in our 2016 NASA-X autocross championship series and 1st of the year at Memphis International Raceway.  For those o
f you who have not been to one of our MIR events, this is a no work autocross that we refer to as LazyCross.

This is a two day event with points counting towards the year end championship.

Registration options include registering for the autocross for both days, Sunday only, or Monday only.

For both days, Gates open at 8 am. Registration will be from 8:30 am - whenever we are full (tech will be open from 8:30 until noon).

Drivers meeting at 8:45 on Sunday with the first car on course by 9:00.
Drivers meeting at 9:15 on Monday with the first car on course by 9:30.

On Sunday, we have a hard cut-off of 1:45 pm, so we are limited to 40 entries and you are guaranteed 8 runs each. Time permitting, we will offer fun runs after all competitors have taken their 8 runs.  We sold out during our last event so register early to ensure your spot.
On Monday, we do not have a hard cut-off at this time but that may change due to the scheduling needs of MIR.  We can guarantee spots for at least 40 entries.

This is a no work event, so you will not have to work the course unless you want to.

If you are unsure about which class your car falls in choose the novice category and email Michael Morris at carlife@aol.com . He will help you class your car and then notify registration which group to put you in.

We will have great door prizes after Sunday's runs are complete. To be eligible, you must register on-line.

NASA Mid South loves noobs and those curious as to what this is all about. If interested, at least come out and ride with some of the entrants. It is absolutely FREE!
