About this event

Thumb 2015 ax flyer march 14

NASA Mid South presents the 1st event in our 2015 NASA-X autocross championship series and first of the year at Memphis International Raceway.  For those o
f you who have not been to one of our MIR events, this is a no work autocross that we refer to as LazyCross.

If you have ever been to one of our track events, expect the same level of fun. This is a two day event with points counting towards the year end championship.

Registration options include registering for the autocross for both days, Saturday only, or Sunday only.

For both days, Gates open at 8 am. Registration will be from 8:30 am - 9:30 am (tech will be open from 8:30 until noon). Drivers meeting at 9:30 with the first car on course by 10:00.

There will be plenty of NASA dogs for all competitors and spectators to enjoy and expand your/their bellies. It has been proven that there is a direct correlation between the number of NASA dogs consumed and your speed on course.

On both days, the last run will be at 1:45 pm, so we have a limit of 40 cars at 8 runs each. Time permitting, we will offer fun runs after all competitors have taken their 8 runs. This is a no work event, so you will not have to work the course unless you want to.

If you are unsure about which class your car falls in choose the novice category and email Michael Morris at carlife@aol.com . He will help you class your car and then notify registration which group to put you in.

We will have great door prizes after Sunday's runs are complete. To be eligible, you must pre-register.

NASA Mid South loves noobs and those curious as to what this is all about. If interested, at least come out and ride with some of the entrants. It is absolutely FREE!
