About this event

Pre-registration is OPEN until 6pm Monday August 31st. Click here for the entry list so far.

You have found the info & pre-registration page for the 2015 NASA Mid-Atlantic Circuitcross at Virginia International Raceway's Patriot Course on Saturday September 5, 2015. The tentative schedule is:

Registration & tech @ 10a
Drivers meeting @ 11:15a
Heat 1 @ 12p-2p
Heat 2 @ 3:30-5:30p

This championship event will take place for a maximum of 50 entries (two 25-car heats) on the 1.1 mile infield circuit. A run will be almost an entire lap, click here for in-car video of one way these can be set up. Participants can expect at least 5 runs each, but hopefully more, and there are no work assignments. Pre-registration is discounted below. If it doesn't fill, we will accept walk-up registrations that day for $100 each - cash or card. All drivers will need to sign the waiver and get a wristband immediately upon arrival. Pre-registered drivers will get in free only if they visit NASA registration in the Raceplex (do not use the main gate) between 6:30am and 9am Saturday. The track will be charging an admission fee for crew and guests and drivers who didn't pre-register and drivers who don't come in during the specified timeframe since this takes place during a public/spectator weekend, please contact the track directly for gate info.

CANCELLATION/CREDIT/REFUND POLICY is near the bottom of the page here: http://www.nasaracing.net/?page_id=669. Please read and understand this special event policy before you register.

All drivers must be at least 18 years of age with a valid drivers license. All registered cars need to pass our safety tech as per this form https://www.nasaproracing.com/rules/nasa-x_tech.pdf . Registered drivers must show up with a completed tech form. There will be a $50.00 inspection fee for cars without a completed form that need a full trackside tech, and the driver may miss track time as a result.

NOTE: because this is a higher speed road course event, rollbars are required in most convertibles. Please inquire before registering if you plan to enter a convertible.

ALSO NOTE: because this is a higher speed road course event, passengers will not be allowed unless they are certified NASA instructors.

If you are unsure of your car's NASA-X class please simply select "NXR" aka "run what ya brung" (or NOVICE if applicable.)
Please list three car number choices when you register (i.e. 7, 17, 71.) We can't have duplicate car numbers even in different heats because it can mess up our timing & scoring. We will publish an entry list with confirmed car numbers later. Car numbers need to be big and visible on event day, no shoe polish numbers please. Painters tape on windows or bodywork is ok.
