IMPORTANT: IN-CAR instruction will be allowed HPDE1.  Passengers allowed!  Spectators allowed!  Café is open.  Camping in the paddock is allowed.

OPEN TRACK SESSIONS!  HPDE 3 level drivers and higher, supersize into the OPEN TRACK sessions and double your track time!  For drivers already registered for another run group, supersize into OPEN TRACK by scrolling down and selecting the "Open Track - NASA Members" option.  

OPEN TRACK is also available a la carte to HPDE 3 drivers and higher who are not registered in another run group.  Scroll down and select the "Open Track" option to register.

HPDE 1 NOTICE:

Do not choose "instructor" below. One will be assigned to you automatically. IN-CAR instruction will be allowed for this event!  If you want in-car instruction, please let your instructor know when they contact you with event details.  If you are not comfortable with in-car instruction yet, please request the lead-follow format.

HPDE 2 NOTICE:

HPDE 2 is for drivers that have been signed off to drive on their own, but just want more time in HPDE 1. So, Group 2 is Group 1 (and runs with Group 1), but they have no instructor assignment. HPDE 3 NOTICE:

Sunday only entrants MUST have completed a prior Sunday HPDE3 event to be eligible.

RACERS:

All regular NASA race groups: AI, AIX, CMC, FFC, GTS, PT, ST, HC, NP01, SM, SI, ST, STR, SU, SpecE30, SE46, SpecZ, Pro, Semi-Pro, Thunder Roadster.

LATE REGISTRATION FEE: Online registration closes Tuesday at 11:59 PM the week of the event.  After that, all registrations must be done at the track and pay a $100 late fee.

License: Your competition license is good for one season.  Purchase your season license online in your member account.  Apply for a new NASA license here: https://form.jotform.com/drivenasa/license-application

SUPERSIZE NOTES:

Spec Miata / Spec E30 drivers may Supersize to ST.

HPDE 3 level drivers and higher who are already registered in a run group may supersize into the Open Track sessions.

SOUND LIMIT:

There is a STRICT sound limit of 103 dBA measured 50’ from the line on driver’s right, apex of T12.  Attempts to fool the meter or lift will easily be detected by the track’s dedicated sound person (they hate that!).  So, please prepare to adjust your muffling system if necessary.  This is the same standard that has been in place for years.

No on-site helmet rentals at Sonoma Raceway.  To rent a helmet in advance, contact Ken at I/O Port, https://www.ioportracing.com/helmet-rental/.

There is a $10 fee per person per event at the gate.  Keep your stub for the weekend.

Schedules and paddock maps will be available the week of the event.

Your car must be teched before going on track.

REFUND POLICY:

HPDE/Open Track: Full refund less $30 processing fee, with at least one week notice prior to the event, otherwise no refunds or credits. No exceptions.

Race Groups: Full refund, less a $30 processing fee, provided that you registered at least 12 days in advance and you notify your NASA region within five days following the missed event. No partial refunds allowed. This policy does not apply to special events. Once the car hits the track all fees are non-refundable.
