MINIpalooza @ the Beach 2017

This year's event is held in and around the beautiful coastal city of Wilmington, NC. A 3-day event, Friday through Sunday, September 8-10, 2017.  We will be having a number of events over the weekend, however, because of the venue, there won’t be any twisty driving. We will be cruising in groups on beach and ferry runs, eating some of the best food on the coast.

For those arriving Friday, Flow MINI of Raleigh will provide a welcome dinner at Capt'n Bill's Backyard Grill from 6:30-10:00PM.  Dinner is from 6:30-8:00PM after that you're on your own. Catering is limited  to 125 people. 

On Saturday morning, there will be 4 group runs

• Group A: Brookgreen Gardens, Murrells Inlet, SC Tour
• Group B: Southport - Fort Fisher Ferry Run
• Group C: Fort Fisher - Southport Ferry Run
• Group D: Paddle board & Sea Turtle Rescue Tour

After each group run, you'll make your way back to Wilmington for Saturday's main event on the USS North Carolina Battleship Museum. We'll start the night with a group picture in front of the Battleship.

Flow MINI of Winston-Salem & Raleigh will be providing a catered dinner on the stern of the U.S.S. North Carolina Battleship Museum. Included with the dinner is the ability to tour the museum and ship. We will have the ship and museum to ourselves from 6:00 -10:00PM. Buffet Dinner will begin at 6:45PM. Dinner and seating on the battleship is limited to 185 people.

Noni Bacca Winery, the winner of 136 international medals will be onboard  for wine tasting (prepaid during registration - $7.50 per person). They will bring eight of their finest wines for the tasting. They will also be selling wine by the glass or bottle.  If you want MINIPalooza commemorative labeled wine bottles, you CAN pre-order your wines during the registration. We will provide a direct link to order your wine bottles during the final confirmation. Your pre-order will be available for pick up on Saturday September 9th at the battleship. 

Also craft beer by Bill's Front Porch Brewery will be available for purchase by glass or to take home by growler on Battleship as well.

Note: we have confirmed with the U.S.S. North Carolina Battleship Museum coordinator that, since this is a private party, guests will be able to bring their own alcoholic beverages to the event. If you choose to do this, FLOW MINI of Raleigh & THMMC urges you to drink responsibly.

For Sunday morning, It is your free day, do whatever you want or head home on your own.

IMPORTANT!!! On the next page, please chose the number of people in your party that are attending each individual meal as well as the number of people in your party that are attending all meals (separate options). We need to see the individual meal numbers to choose other venues of sufficient size. Thanks!

 

T-Shirts for this year's event are to be ordered and pre-paid during registration. The cut-off date to purchase shirts is August 8th. You can pick up your t-shirts on Friday September 8th from 3:00-6:00PM @ Wingate by Wyndham, Wilmington (5126 Market Street Bus 17, Wilmington, NC 28405) and again at the Wingate from 10:00-11:00PM.

Beyond paying for your own lodging, there are $10 registration fees per MINI, the wine tasting, magnets, stickers and T-shirts for this event.

 

NOTE: T-shirt cost is $20 each. We offers a men's cut, ladies v-neck and youth short sleeve t-shirts.  You can order your t-shirts until Aug 14, 2017.

PRE-REGISTRATION is very important. It will let us know how many people and cars to plan for. It will also allow us to send out important information by email all those who register with updates.  As the event gets closer. If you are at least 75% sure you are coming, please register today, you can always cancel at a later date. 

Note: Seating is limited on the battleship.  You must have a confirmed registration to attend.
