About this event
The 2018 1morehome.ca Ice Racing Championship will be a 3-race endurance series with a 4-hour duration per race. The races will be structured as 6×40 minute sessions with breaks for driver changes at the end of each session; starting in the morning with 3×40 minute sessions, a break for lunch, then another 3×40 minute sessions. For a 3-driver team, that’s an extra 20 minutes of seat-time per driver than the previous 3-hour format, with a better chance for everyone to get a quality session in.
There will no longer be a morning practice. Limited race-day parade laps at pace-car speed will be available to drivers who meet the experience requirement but have not driven on the new track layout.
NOTE: Seasonal Ice Racer parking at the MCO Winter Track will remain FREE, however there will be a $120 deposit per parking spot, refundable once clean-up conditions are met.
Maximum number of teams is 22.
