Hello Everyone! The Maverick Region is going to try a new type of Driver Education event. It's going to be held July 18, a Wednesday, in the afternoon and evening, and will be just for the one day. We'll be running the 1.7 mile track counter-clockwise. The current plan is for the track to go hot at 2 PM, so I'm tentatively scheduling the worker safety meeting for 1:30 PM at the tower. I may have to change that when the schedule is finalized, but I'll let everyone that signs up know a week or more in advance. The pay will be $75 for 5 to 6 hours of work, plus the club is providing some sort of meal when it's over. We need 2 people in the tower, 1 black flag, 1 gridmaster and 7 corner workers.
