About this event
It’s been said the Plans are meant to be changed, so here we go.
Our previously planned Clackamas River trip for 10/18 will have to be to be cancelled. The ODOT has closed the Clackamas River Highway because of hazardous road conditions in the area of a large forest fire from earlier this summer.
In its place we will offer a tour to the Columbia River Maritime Museum in Astoria.
Here’s a little information from the web site:
The mission of the Columbia River Maritime Museum is to collect and preserve historical and cultural maritime material relevant to the Columbia River System and the waters of the North Pacific, and to display and interpret selected material from the collections for the education and enjoyment of the public.
