The next stop on the list for Major League Karting (MLKarting) is Willow Springs International Raceway. This difficult and challenging track should bring some good racing.
Saturday will be open practice hosted by Willow Springs. Sunday’s schedule will be filled with qualifying, heat races and main events for all classes. This format has been established to help minimize expenses and time away from work/school for competitors.

Event requirements
Major League Karting 2016 Winter Cup Event Information
Pre-Register to receive a discount on your entry and tires. Any entry at the door will be charged per item and no discount will be given.
Incentives
Kids will not have to miss school
Winner of the Winter Cup takes home full Summer Cup Sponsorship. Sponsorship includes: Entry, race tires, mechanic wrist band, transponder and race fuel & oil
Transponder
Transponder rentals will be available at registration.
An ID or CC is required when picking up your transponder.
Any transponder not returned or damaged will be charged full price of $348 to the driver or guardian for any driver under 18.
All LO2O6 classes must have the transponder in use from the first practice of the day forward.
All other classes must have transponder from Sunday warm up session, forward.
Tires
MG Red (All LO2O6 Classes & TaG Cadet)
LeCont Tires (Shifter, TaG Junior/Senior/Masters)
Tires for rain are open and every driver is responsible to provide his or her own.
Rain tires will not be sold by the series.
Fuel
All 4-Cycle Classes will use 91 Octane pump gas. It will not be provided at the track, you must purchase this gas prior. Gas Station will be announced prior to the race weekend. All other classes will run MS VP98 racing fuel.
Tires & fuel are not a required purchase through MLKarting. We highly encourage you to purchase these items through your local kart shop or team.
Pit Spots and Camping
Pit spots will be handled on a first come first serve basis, giving priority to all sponsors.
Camping will be available at Willow Springs Kart Track at NO charge.
No outside catering allowed. You may bring in your food but no outside catering is allowed.
Pets on Track
Pets are allowed in the pit area only and MUST be leashed at all times.
Every person is responsible for picking up after their pet.
Cleanliness of Your Surroundings
Every person and or team is responsible for taking any fuel cans or used tires. DO NOT leave behind at the track.
Willow Springs will charge a fee if any of this material is left behind and this fee will be passed on to the responsible team or person.
Team owners are responsible for their drivers.
MLKarting will deal straight with team owners unless this is done by a privateer.
Additional information
Willow Springs charges a $10.00 fee per person upon entering their track (for insurance purposes)
NO motorized vehicles including: scooters, hover boards, skateboards and bicycles allowed in the pits during practice or race hours (7am – 5pm)
Only engine builders may use manual bicycles to maneuver through the pits.
No consumption of alcoholic beverages of any kind during practice or race hours (7am – 5pm)
