M4theM Invades Washington

Summit Point Washington

About this event

Drive M4theM's newest and most exciting SCDE experience AND earn experience towards M4theM Track Day Solo Certification!

One of our core values in starting M4theM was to create a learning platform that assured fully trained, truly prepared, excellent track-day participants that can hit the ground running at our future track days.  The Summit Point Washington SCDE circuit is a final bridge between lower-speed venue SCDEs and our full-course Track Days.

Since SCDE is a bridge event between Autocross and Track Days, you will learn all the procedures and rules of a Track Day but do so on a racecourse that is one safe step larger and faster than an autocross course.  You will encounter longer than AutoX straights and true braking zones where almost all cars will be exceeding maximum interstate speeds once or twice a lap.  Unlike our smaller venues, the Summit Washington course requires shifting and offers multiple point-by locations.  At an AutoX, you read cones, at an SCED you follow an actual mini road course layout and run multiple laps at a time, sharing the track with others as you learn excellent on-track and situational awareness habits as well as how to properly and safely execute point-by passing.

Participating in this event alone COULD even qualify you to drive solo in our upcoming M4theM full course track days such as our September event scheduled on the Summit Point Shenandoah Course.  Your qualification will be dependant upon your performance and our instructor evaluation during this SCDE.  Nonetheless, you will be ready to start ahead of all other true track day novices and be well on your way to solo certification for full racecourses.

Another plus to M4theM SCDE is NO WORKING!  Just like at a track day, we supply trained marshals at all positions, you just arrive and drive.

Finally, we capture your lap times.  The only way you can judge your progress towards consistent solid laps and driving skills is through the clock.  While SCDE is not a competition format, we do allow participants access to their times to judge skill progression.  Lap times can be found on our Webscorer server as found on our website and update throughout the day. (when internet/cell service is adequate.

Our SCDE events are broken up into 2 sessions; Morning from 7 AM to 12 PM and the Afternoon from 12 PM to 5 PM.

Each participant will drive in 4 individual 10 to 15 minute long continuous lapping sessions.  No point to point like AutoX, just keep making laps.

Registration and Tech will be open at 7 AM and again at 12 pm for the afternoon session.  The driver's meeting will be at 7:45 and 12:45 respectively.

Either session will provide you with up to 55 minutes of run time. *

The all-day pass avails you of up to 1 hour and 50 minutes of run time. *

The regular entry fees for this track are $130 for a Morning or Evening session and $230 for both sessions. To reach as many new participants as we can, for THIS inaugural EVENT ONLY we are offering introductory early bird pricing at $110 for a half-day. $210 for a full day.  Early Bird will end Sunday, April 18 so act now to save $20.

This is the lowest price you will ever see for this much M4theM seat time, especially on this advanced level SCDE course.  We believe once you experience our events, you will be hooked!

NOVICES ARE ALLOWED!  While it is an advanced course. it has a lot of runoff and offers room for some beginner learning curves.  We'll provide you with an in-car or lead follow instructor until you are ready to go it alone.

What are you waiting for?

* Track time may be affected by event schedule, mechanical issues on track, or weather.  Track time is not guaranteed but we will do all we can to make sure everybody gets the amount they pay for.
