High Speed Autocross
Event includes 3 morning open track practice sessions and timed runs from standing start in the afternoon.
Hosted by Salt Creek Sports Car Club (SCSCC) and Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs (MCSCC)
In the morning there will be (3) 20 minute practice sessions (similar to open track or HPDE event). There are different 3 skill levels groups for the on track sessions. MC Instructors are available to entrants in the beginner groups. Also offer intermediate and advanced groups for those who have run previous track events at BFR. Each session will have 10-20 cars on track for 20 minutes with passing restricted to the main straight of BFR with point by from driver being passed. Please http://mcscc.org/ for more details.
The afternoon format for the HSAX (high speed autocross). Single car timed runs for one lap of the track. Timed runs are done as a standing start near S/F line of pit lane, timing is completed at end of one lap crossing S/F line at speed, then drivers continue on partial cool down lap, exiting the track between corners 4 and 5 of BFR.
HSAX cars are classified using MC rules, please visit MC website for all the details on car classing and safety requirements.

Please note the HDPE only entrants will be sharing same morning track sessions with entrants from the full day High Speed Autocross event.

$150 HSAX Early Registration for members of clubs that are part Midwestern Council (Morning sessions, Afternoon timed runs)
($150 if CC payment setup through MSR or pay onsite with CASH or CHECK on the day of event is $175)
$160 HSAX Early Registration non-members (Morning only sessions, Afternoon timed runs)
($160 if CC payment setup through MSR or pay onsite with CASH or CHECK on the day of event is $185)
Drivers can enter day of event for $175/$185

Midwestern Council accepts Snell 2005 helmets for the 2016 season.
