Lined Up                                                                                                               on track

As part of the Drivers Ed weekend at Summit Point Raceway August 6, 2016, the Founders' Region will hold our annual LAPS FOR CHARITY event.  At the end of the last DE session around 6pm on Saturday, individuals will be able to drive their own cars around the Summit Point track behind a pace car.  See the entire track from the best of all vantage points: the driver's seat, just like the racers!

PCA Potomac appreciates your participation in our Parade Lap event program and we hope you enjoy your opportunity to drive/ride on a professional race track.  By participating, your donation will help the Meals on Wheels of Jefferson County (WV) raise funds to prepare and deliver nourishing meals to needy people in the local area.

For a minimum $20 donation (per car), participants will get about 15 minutes on the track behind pace cars.  Any type of vehicle (car, truck, SUV) is welcome, provided that the driver and each passenger have operational seat belts.  No helmets or other safety equipment are required.  These are parade laps, so no racing or passing will be allowed.

Payment will be handled at the track, so look for the Registration banner across from the classroom and be there well by 5:30 pm.  We have a limit of how many cars we can handle so we need to have a count early, this is open to all club members not just those attending the DE.  Individuals who have not registered ahead of time will only be allowed to participate if we are below limit.

DO NOT ARRIVE LATE, WE WILL BE HOLDING HAPPY HOUR DIRECTLY AFTER THESE LAPS AND WILL HAVE SOME VERY THIRSTY DRIVERS WAITING ON US!

For more information, please contact Chip Taylor or communityservice@pcapotomac.org.
