Get your LA1K road race license for the Leduc Alberta 1000! Sign up for the NASCC operated competition license school, and earn a WCMA sanctioned amateur road race license for the LA1K event. A further school is required for a WCMA license for all WCMA sanctioned events. A reduced entry rate will be offered for that shcool to participants in this school.
School entry fee $220
Event requirements
Car & Driver Requirements:
Student's in this school must have previous racing experience, and be able to provide evidence of that experience.
A race car is not required to take the school
Two Seats are required in the car, so that an instructor can sit with the student.
Student must hold a valid driver's license
Student must supply their own helmet, Snall SA 2005 or 10, or type M (motorcycle)
Student must submit a completed tech form on site at registration
Student must supply their own car, with at least two seats, and seatbelts for the instuctor equivalent to those for the student
Minors must have both parents sign a “minor waiver” in advance and bring to registration
Car must be properly maintained and safe
Car must be emptied of all loose items in cabin and trunk
Convertibles & cabriolets must have roll over protection, either factory or aftermarket installed.
Pickup trucks will not be accepted
SUV’s are not accepted, except for BMW and Porsche SUV's and SAV's
