The Hound and the Hare - 35 laps

Driver’s best lap time taken from the July 27, 2013 race will serve as their qualifying lap
- Any drivers wanting to participate in the fun race that were unable to be here for the July 27 race will have at least two other races reviewed in relation to the baseline driver for placement
- The slowest qualifying time in each group will serve as the baseline starting point from which gaps will be determined
- The gap between the slowest qualifying time and every other kart will be multiplied by 35 (number of laps) – establishing the time gap that each kart will be released onto the track after the first kart out
- The driver with the slowest qualifying lap will be released onto the track first; followed by the second slowest driver; and so on…..
- Example – Kart A sets the baseline lap time of 61-seconds and the fastest kart (Kart B) has a 59-second qualifying time
Kart B= 2-sec gap x 35 laps = Kart B released onto track 50 seconds after Kart A
