July Racing School & MARRS Regional Race Weekend

NOTE: Registration for this event closes tonight at midnight - there are NO late registrations or walk-ups at the track for this event.

The Washington DC Region of SCCA invites you to the July Racing School & MARRS Regional Race Weekend with special guests V8RRS & NEDiv - July 24-26, 2020 at Summit Point Motorsports Park.

Racing School Entry Fee: $199.  Must be registered by Sunday, July 19th.  No exceptions, no late entries.

MARRS Entry Fees:  Single entry, any race group: $355, must be registered by 11:59 pm Sunday, July 19th, 2020.  2nd entry for same driver in any 2nd race group: add $175.  3rd entry for same driver in any 3rd race group: add another $175.  Contact the region office for 3rd entry registration.  Note: There will be no late entries accepted for this event and no at-track entries.

Important info for Racing School Students:

• Student Packet found here: https://www.wdcr-scca.org/racing-school.  All items must be read and exam must be completed and returned to cluboffice@wdcr-scca.org no later than Sunday, July 19th.
• In accordance with COVID-19 guidelines, we will be restricting the number of entries for this event.  Acceptance is dependent on capability of student to pass this course.  Please submit your previous experience driving resume to the cluboffice@wdcr-scca.org to be forwarded to the Chief Instructor to be screened for qualifications.  All student registrations will first be placed "on hold" as conditional entries until you are notified of your final status.
• There is a mandatory classroom session & test for all students at 7:30pm on Thursday, July 23rd in the main classroom in the "Tin Shed" (next to where the race cars are teched).  Bring your own pen and paper.  You must wear your face mask.
• Please see event SUPPS for additional COVID-19 safety guidelines.  There is a mandatory COVID WAIVER-red.pdf which must be printed in color, completed top & bottom sections, and brought with you to the track for check-in.
• Students who pass the school on Friday may race in the MARRS regional portion of the weekend.  Please register for the MARRS event now if this is your intention, you will not be able to register on-site.  This event registration closes Sunday 07/19.

Important info for MARRS Regional Racers:

• PRACTICE DAY: Please note that the Thursday prior to our event is an Open Practice day offered directly by the track.  Summit Point also uses MSR for their registration.  Thursday/practice day is not included as part of the registration for this MARRS event - you will need to register & pay separately if you want Thursday/practice.  The registration link for Thursday, July 23rd is here: msreg.com/SPOPJuly2020.
