REQUIRED TEXTBOOK: Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured, Eleventh Edition with premier access code. Textbook available for purchase at discounted rate in registration.
155 Hour Minimum. This class meets National Education Standards, and includes required clinical time. Minimum of 8 students required to hold class. If minimum is not met, participants will be notified and refunded by Augut 21, 2020.
Start Date: Tuesday, September 1, 2020, 6:00 p.m.
This class is an online student self-learning didactic course with skills and practical sessions throughout sections of the course.
The class will meet in-house Bi-weekly, Sept. 12, 26, Oct. 8, 17, Nov. 7, 21, Dec. 8, 12, 2020 and Jan. 2, 6, 2021.
Class is limited to 18 students. Students will have access to state-of-the-art simulation training manikins. Course cost of $975 includes tuition, CPR card, NREMT fee and full EVOC course TBD at the completion of the course.
Students must pre-register by August 21, 2020. $275 refundable deposit required at registration. Class must be made in full by the first day 9/1/20. Students must obtain the required textbook/premier access code. Fees are also payable to WVOEMS to obtain WV certification. Get more information at www.wvpst.org.
