REQUIRED TEXTBOOK: Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured, Eleventh Edition with premier access code for the online course portion. Textbook and online code are available for purchase at discounted rate in registration.
155 Hour Minimum. This class meets National Education Standards, and includes required clinical time. Minimum of 8 students required to hold class. If minimum is not met, participants will be notified and refunded by January 26, 2021. Upon completion and passing of both written and psychomotor exams, students will receive a National Registry Emergency Medical Technician certificaiton.
Start Date: Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
This class is an online student self-learning didactic course with skills and practical sessions throughout sections of the course.
The class will meet in-house Bi-weekly on the following dates: February 20, March 13, March 23, April 3, April 13, April 24, May 6, May 15, June 1, June 26, July 17, July 20.
Weekday classes are held from 6:00 p.,m. - 10:00 p.m. Weedend classes are held 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Class is limited to 18 students. Students will have access to state-of-the-art simulation training manikins. Course cost of $975 includes tuition, CPR card, NREMT fee and full EVOC course TBD at the completion of the course.
Students must pre-register by January 26, 2021. $275 refundable deposit required at registration. Refund will be issued only if the class does not meet the required amount of students or if student chooses to drop out two weeks before the class starts. Class must be paid in full by the first day February 9, 2021 or payment plan agreement must be signed and submitted. Students must obtain the required textbook/premier access code. Fees are also payable to WVOEMS to obtain WV certification. Get more information at www.wvpst.org.
