About this event

Indiana Rallycross 2014 Badlands Series, Event #4

November 1st and 2nd

Presented by:

November 1st AND November 2nd

Indiana Rallycross will bring the 2014 season to a close at a special two day event onNovember 1st and 2nd at the Badlands Off Road Park in Attica Indiana.

Saturday will feature IRC's first night stage as we attack the Badlands after the park closes. The all gravel track will start in upper parking lot and then take competitors down to the lower lot and into the quarry before heading back up to the main lot. We have a lot of space to play with and a lot of options on how to set this course up, we'll be tweaking the details as we get closer to the event but we can promise that it will be a truly unique and epic track. We'll be starting around sunset and continuing on into the night as long as we can. Working headlights are going to be a must for this race.

Sunday's course will take us back to the 'Quarry Overlook' course that we ran at the May 2ndevent and August 2nd Stage Rallycross. Racing will pick back up first thing in the morning on a track that features the wide open field, gravel driveway, and dirt road weaving through the woods. If you were at the at the May 2nd event, it will be very similar to that, with a few possible expansions if the course conditions permit.

Both tracks will give drivers a variety of course surfaces, conditions and unique challenges. And we'll be moving fast to maximize the seat time that every driver gets.

Please check our website for details on car classes, rules, and safety regulations.

Car Classification Guidelines:

Indiana Rallycross uses an abbreviated car classification system that allows AWD, FWD, and RWD cars to be put together in the same class depending on the modification and performance of that car. These classes are designed to keep cars grouped by capability rather than strictly based on mechanical specifications. The result of this is increased competition in each class.

In some cases, very high performance stock cars will receive a class handicap and will be bumped up to the next class. There is no set rule for this, and it is the track officials to class cars in a manner that promotes fair competition.

Definitions:
Stock - No power or suspension modifications. Any street tire permitted. Minimal weight removal permitted (removing spare tire, rear seat cushion)

Prepared - Changes to intake and cat-back exhaust system, suspension changes, and rally/gravel spec tires permitted. Seats may be swapped with light weight racing versions.

Modified - All other performance modifications and full weight removal. All Rally America specification cars fall in this category.
