The Icebreaker Road Race Style is back again! A TON of track time for not a lot of money. This is the first opportunity of the season for the grassroots New England Sports Car community to race. This event is open to holders of all licenses eligible for regional competition in SCCA, NASA, IMSA, PCA, VRG, VSCCA and BMWCCA, LeMons, Chumps
This is a "Pro Racing Event" with HUGE trophies and, well, very small cash prizes...
Better than a boring test day, shake off the winter cobwebs...come out and race!
Friday, April 20, 2018 is an SCCA Drivers School at Thompson. Only registered participants to the school, instructors, and Thompson Drivers Club members and their guests will be allowed on track. IBRR participants are welcome to enter the paddock area, starting at noon, after signing in at Guest Registration. Tech will be open at noon on April 20st. Set up in the paddock area will be limited to areas outside of Paddock A until 6:00 p.m.

Event requirements
DRIVER ELIGIBILITY: The event is open to holders of all licenses eligible for regional competition in SCCA, NASA, IMSA, PCA, VRG, VSCCA, and BMWCCA, Chumps and LeMons. Drivers must hold valid current licenses. Chumps and LeMons drivers must show evidence of competing within the past 18 months.
CAR ELIGIBILITY (RUN GROUPS ARE LISTED IN APPENDIX A). Cars classified by all road racing sanctioning organizations are invited to compete. Cars from all eligible classes have been grouped into five run groups (1 thru 5) for this event. Classes from several sanctioning organizations have been incorporated into this structure. The complete list of eligible cars is shown in the Run Group Table in Appendix A. If your race car is not listed contact the Race Chair to determine which group you will be put in.
