Pricci’s was a great experience in 2012 and has becoming a tradition. Pricci’s ranked #18th of Atlanta’s top 100 in the 2013 Jezebel Magazine publication’s A-List for Atlanta dining. The write-up describes Pricci’s as “a classic restaurant environment that serves up a mix of old school romance and fun.” The article recognizes Chef Piero Premoli, an acclaimed third generation Italian chef, for sensible but delicate dishes made with local produce with “the enthusiasm that only an Italian can show for the cuisine of his homeland”. Atlanta Magazine likewise rates Pricci’s as one of the top restaurants in Atlanta.
Chief Piero Premoli has ruled the kitchen at Pricci’s since 2005. Although our entrée selection is mainstream Americana (surf and turf) the vegetables and dessert reflect Premoli’s passion for his native Italy. He regularily visits Italy to keep up to date on Italian culinary trends and to maintain his relationship with trusted suppliers. Premoli and Pricci’s have been recognized for excellence by the Accademis Italia Della Cucina, an Italian Cultural institution, and are the only chef and restaurant with this designation in Atlanta.
As we did last year this will be our opportunity tor recognize our loyal newsletter advertisers who will again be out guests for the luncheon and present our annual section awards. Members will again have the opportunity to win valuable door prizes for responses to queries of random facts provided by our newsletter advertisers.
The menu is a tried and true favorite but prepared with a different twist for the vegetables, bread, and dessert.
- Salad: Caesar or chef’s choice
- Entrée: Grilled Atlantic salmon and Rib Eye Steak with chef’s choice of seasonal vegetable
- Dessert: Cheesecake or a special Italian delicacy.
- Coffee and tea
A cash bar will precede lunch with presentations, recognitions, and announcements with dessert.
I have previously dined at Pricci’s and enjoyed a three course special with the charge still well over $100.00 for two without cocktails. The menu for our event is a value at $37.00 (alcoholic beverage are additional). We will have exclusive use of the restaurant and will be seated in the main dining room as we were last year. Pricci’s is closed for lunch on Saturdays but is opening just for Peachtree Section. Parking will be available in the Pricci’s parking lot.
Please remember to bring an unwrapped toy for the Marine Corp Toys for Tots program.

-Going South on GA 400 from Alpharetta, Cummings, and north central Georgia: After the toll booth exit at Lennox-Buckhead. Turn right and go to the second light where you turn left onto Piedmont. Follow Piedmont 0.8 mile where you turn right at Pharr Road. Go a quarter mile to Pricci’s on the right.
-Going South on I-85 from Norcross-Gwinnett-Athens-north east Georgia. Go inside I-285 and take the Lennox/Cheshire Bridge exit. Turn right, then left on Buford Highway. Immediately get in the far left lane and merge onto Sidney Marcus Blvd. Follow Sidney Marcus until it dead ends into Piedmont. Turn right on Piedmont and traverse ¾ mile to Pharr Road. Turn left onto Pharr Road and Pricci’s is a quarter mile on the right.
-Going North on I-85 from Midtown, downtown, Milner, Macon, Warner Robbins, and La Grange and other southern Georgia meccas. Take the Buford Highway/Piedmont Road exit. Follow the exit ramp onto Buford highway and continue two blocks until you reach Piedmont Road. Turn right onto Piedmont and go two miles to Pharr Road. Turn left on Pharr Road. Pricci’s is a quarter mile on the right.
-Going South on I-75 from Marietta and north west Georgia, take the West Paces Ferry exit #235, turn left and go three miles on West Paces Ferry until you reach Peachtree Road. Turn right and go to the second traffic light (Pharr Road). Turn left and go one mile on Pharr Road to Pricci’s on the left.
Event requirements
TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
This agreement pertains to driving events of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America, Inc (MBCA) in which I desire to participate, whether as a driver, passenger, official, volunteer or to attend as a spectator or visitor. In consideration for permitting me to participate in or observe driving events, which may consist of time trials, autocross, acceleration runs, defensive driving, road rally and/or tours or to attend the event as a spectator or visitor, I knowingly and voluntarily agree as follows:
1. I CERTIFY, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE that if I am driving, a passenger or otherwise participating in the events:
a. The vehicle I am driving or in which I am a passenger in the events is insured with at least $100,000.00 per person bodily injury and property damage insurance that will be in effect for the entire duration of the events
b. Any participant violating the competition and event rules may be expelled from the event and forfeit all competition privileges.
2. I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE that excessive consumption of alcohol or possession or consumption of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
3. I HEREBY GRANT TO MBCA and the event organizer the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs and video images of me, or in which I may appear, for editorial, trade, advertising and any other bon
a fide purposes, in any manner and medium. I hereby release MBCA, the event organizer, the photographer and videographer from all claims and liability relating
thereto.
4. MBCA cannot be held liable for cancellation, delays or other lack of performance with respect to the event under any “force majeure” circumstances (including, but not limited to, wars, riots, insurrection, terrorism, acts of god, strikes or labor stoppages).
5. I authorize and consent to treatment, hospitalization and other care rendered to me in the event of my illness, injury or other emergent circumstances that may occur while participating in the event and assume full responsibility to pay for all costs and expenses for any such treatment, hospitalization and care (therefore agreeing to hold harmless and indemnify MBCA and the event organizers therefore).
HAVING READ THIS TERMS OF PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT,
I HEREBY BIND MYSELF AND PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES, HEIRS AND NEXT OF KINBY THIS AGREEMENT.
