Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival and Concours d’Elegance
October 26 to November 4, 2018
If you love looking at special cars, you must plan to attend the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance in its fifth year in the new venue at Port Royal Golf Club adjacent to Port Royal Plantation.
- While there are events all week, for many of us the real action begins on Saturday Nov. 3th with the car club displays. Area car clubs are invited to show off their special cars. The Motoring Midway will display items of interest including antique boats and planes well as the cars of an Honored Collector and recipient of the Pinnacle Award. This year’s Pinnacle Award goes to Peter & Merle Mullin. It will be their first time to the Hilton Head Island Concours, all the way from the Mullin Museum in Oxnard, CA. The 2018 Honored Collector will feature the four vehicles listed below, hand-picked from the eclectic collection of Paul Ianuario that spans 1908 to 1972, a collection he’s been cultivating over the past 50 years.

Saturday night we will meet at The Old Oyster Factory at 6PM for dinner. We will order off the menu and will be able to have separate checks. There is no fee for this event but we do need reservations from you so the restaurant will be ready for us. Since this event is not subsidized by our section feel free to register non members as your guests.
Sunday is the Concours d’Elegance. The featured Marque for the 17th annual event will be cars of Southern Europe. The motoring Midway, Honored collector and Pinnacle award will continue to be displayed. You may purchase discounted event tickets on line.
