Create your own art glass totem under the tutelage of glass artisan and owner of Z Glass Act, Susie Zeitner.
Using your design skills with glass is much like making quilts, transfer those ideas to creating a beautiful totem unique to you! Susie is a well-known artist in Sisters, as well as nationally. "Painting with Light" refers to a unique style of drawing and painting with glass powders and enamels combined with sheet glass. Each piece is truly unique and one of a kind. Spirit inspired and unconditional. Students will use fused glass tiles over a 4" I-beam steel post welded to a steel base. Each student can select tiles for their totems in limitless quantities, colors and shapes. These tiles are used to completely cover a steel post in a selected pattern. Tiles are secured to the post with a silicone adhesive and can be displayed inside or outdoors. Totem size is 30" tall and 4"wide, square. Wear comfortable clothing to work outside. This class is for all skill levels. ALL MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE CLASS. LUNCH IS ALSO INCLUDED – Salads with a protein and drinks. Cost: $295.00
