General Information
Please join our annual summer BMW CCA member BBQ picnic with a driving tour beforehand to whet your appetite! The picnic will be at the picturesque Thomas Fogarty Winery high atop Skyline Blvd. in Woodside overlooking vineyards in the foreground and bay views in the distance. An optional scenic drive out to the coast will take place in the morning, ending at the Winery for the picnic. For the BBQ, the fee is $30 per person for members and FREE to chapter volunteers. The driving tour is free but does require completing the registration form here.
The BBQ will feature the following menu items, please let us know if you have a dietary need:
- Roasted Vegetable Crudite, served with Hummus, Cilantro Aioli & Ranch Dressing
- Smokey Barbeque Glazed Chicken
- Slow-Cooked Barbeque Spare Ribs
- Red Potato Salad
- Crisp Cole Slaw
- Barbeque Baked Beans
- Corn Bread & Sweet Cream Butter
- Fresh Fruit Platter
- Assorted Cookies & Fudge Brownies
A wine tasting lead by the staff of winery will be provided and is included in the price! You are welcome to purchase anything you enjoy. Here's a selection of wines available for tasting (and more available in the nearby tasting room):

- 2017 Rosalee, Rosé, Will's Cabin Vineyard
- 2014 Pinot Noir, Rapley Trail Vineyard
- 2014 Nebbiolo, Santa Cruz Mountains

This is a great introductory event for first-time club participants and is also one of our most popular events of the year. All you need is your car and a full tank of gas if participating in the driving tour. The picnic starts at 12p.
Tour Option
Due to a large number of cars participating in our driving tours, we're are limited to ~40 cars that will be divided into smaller groups. After you register for the tour, you'll receive tour details a few days before the event regarding the route, meet-up location and time.
If you've tried to sign up after the limit has been reached, the system will generate an automatic waiting list. If you need to cancel, please let us know so that someone else can take your place. No refunds after July 22.
Please note that everyone in your vehicle must sign the waiver! If you're bringing a minor under 18, you must sign a minor waiver for them. If you are a licensed driver under 18 years old driving with us without a guardian present, please contact the registrars in advance so we can send you a waiver to sign and bring to the event.
Event requirements
You must purchase picnic tickets in order to participate in the pre-picnic drive. Please arrive with a full tank of gas and empty bladder.
