Please join us for a Cooking Extravaganza for Charity! We will prepare our own meals under the tutelage of Chef Instructors at the Culinary Institute of Virginia. One of our Chefs will be Mary Cook, wife of FSR member Mark Cook of LMN Motorsports.
This will be a sleeves up, hands-on culinary experience! You will receive your own souvenir apron and a copy of all the recipes that we cook that evening. Please wear comfortable clothes and closed toed shoes.
When: Saturday, 17 August 5:30 - 9:00PM
Where: Casual Gourmet at the Culinary Institute of Virgina, 2428 Almeda Ave, Suite 106 in Norfolk
We'll start with beer and wine at 5:30. At 6:15 sharp, we'll divide into groups and proceed to our kitchens to discover the Chef in all of us.
Appetizers will be created first, after which we'll head to our tables to enjoy our culinary efforts. Then back into the kitchen to create our wonderful entrees and desserts. After we prepare our main course and dessert, we'll all sit down together again to enjoy the fruits of our labor.
This event will be full of laughs, maybe some blunders, and some great food.

Classic Chocolate Mousse with Fresh Whipped Cream
Lemon Zeppole with Powdered Sugar
Event cost is $70.00 per person. Half of the proceeds will go directly to Horizons Hampton Roads.
Beer and wine are no host. Lemonade and water will be provided.
