Fall Color Tour to Hermann Wine Country - Saturday, Oct. 24th, 2020
Join your fellow Porschephiles for a leisurely ride to Hermann, MO on Saturday, October 24th. We will experience the great driving roads and fall colors of central Missouri on the way to Hermann for the Octoberfest!
We will join the Columbia group for lunch this year at the Fernweh Distillery. We are looking forward to a great time at their newly opened facility.
We are meeting at the WEST Commuter Lot at 9:00 am, on the southwest corner of Hwy 94 and 40 in St. Charles. Be careful, there are TWO lots, one on the East side of Hwy 94 and ours on the West. You have to enter the lot from Hwy K, 1 mile WEST of it. I would suggest gassing up and visiting the restroom before you arrive. We will leave for Hermann at 9:30 am.
There will be one rest stop along the way at the Thierbach’s Orchard in Marthasville on Hwy 47. Thierbach’s have restrooms, refreshments and lots of fall treats such as pumpkins, apples, jams and homemade cinnamon donuts. It is approximately 35 miles from the start.
Continuing from there, we will end at the Fernweh Distillery in Hermann for lunch with the Columbia group. Fernweh arranged a buffet consisting of:
Salad Bar
Brisket Mac & Cheese
Chicken Sliders
Soda, coffee, tea,
Cash bar for alcohol
