NEQ Autumn in the Adirondacks 2018
Great cars, great roads, great fun and all with great people!
Please join us on Saturday, October 20, 2018, for the NEQ Autumn in the Adirondacks Event, where we'll drive through some of the best twisty and scenic country roads the Adirondacks has to offer.
This all-day trip was planned with all drivers in mind. If the “curvy road ahead” sign gets you excited, roads like the ones through Ilion & Frankfort Gorge, Blue Ridge Road, Ensign Pond Road, and Tracy Road are sure to please. If the twisties aren't at the top of your list, the scenery will be just as impressive as the roads. Fall in the Adirondacks is a feast for the eyes. The views of the red, orange, and gold backdrop contrasting the mountain lakes and rivers attract travelers from thousands of miles away. The stunning panorama of Lake Champlain at the Crown Point State Historic Site is a sight you won't soon forget.
Families are welcome! This trip is a great opportunity to bring your family for a day of fun in your Audi—great driving doesn't only happen at the track. (We encourage you to obey all traffic laws.)
For logistical reasons, registration is limited to 30 cars. We had an incredible response at the past events—register early so you don't miss out.

Details:
The drive will depart at 10:00 AM from the Iroquois Travel Plaza on I-90W, which is just before exit 29A in Little Falls, NY. There will be a quick drivers’ briefing before departure. Maps & directions will be distributed at check-in. Although not required, all participants are encouraged bring a 2-way (FRS) radio if you own or can borrow one.
After the first leg of the drive we will stop in Speculator, NY for a picnic lunch overlooking Lake Pleasant. In case of rain, there is a fully enclosed picnic shelter. You are welcome to bring lunch, or choose our lunch option, which will be provided by Timberline Café & Bakery in Speculator. For those who choose the lunch option, menu options will be sent for your selection via email about a month before the event.
The drive will conclude in Crown Point, NY. There is no scheduled dinner after the drive; local options include the Burgoyne Grill in Ticonderoga or one of the many restaurants in Middlebury, VT. There are also dining options in Schroon Lake and Lake George/Bolton Landing.

4:40 - 5:00: Crown Point State Historic Site, Crown Point, NY
Lodging:
If you need a place to stay the night before, the Holiday Inn and Microtel Inn in Johnstown, NY are the closest options.
Fees:
• Scenic drive is $20 per vehicle for ACNA members and $25 for nonmembers.
(Includes one commemorative shirt; additional shirts also available for $20 each)
• Lunch Option: Bag lunches are $10 each.
This event will take place rain or shine. We look forward to seeing you.
Don't own an Audi? That's OK! We might tease you a bit, but you are welcome anyway!
ACNA members and non-members welcome. Family and friends welcome. Non-Audi marques welcome. You don’t need to drive an Audi to enjoy the fun, camaraderie and a beautiful day.
