Autocross allows you to hone your driving skills on a closed, paved course.
Race solo, against the clock, with your daily driver, or your modified or prepared vehicle. If you have a valid driver's license and your vehicle can pass our technical inspection, you can come down and race with us.
Event requirements
Thank you for pre-registering. It helps cut down on data-entry time so we get on the track sooner!
Experience Required: None, but you must have valid driver's license or permit.
Location: Montana Expo Park
Set-up and Check-in: Set-up begins at 7:00 a.m. Check-in goes until 8:30 a.m. Please bring your Driver's License and SCCA Membership card with you to the table.
Competition Fees:
SCCA Members: $30
After 8 years, the SCCA has raised the price of membership (weekend and regular) by $5.00. This is reflected in the fees below. Up to 2 weekend memberships are 100% refundable when you join the SCCA.
Non-Members: $50
First-Time Racers: $20 This pays for your mandatory weekend membership.(You must have never raced at any SCCA sanctioned event in order to qualify-No Exceptions!)
Need: Snell 2005, M2005 or SA2005 helmets or newer. (A limited number of loaner helmets will be available on-site.) Here is the link to approved helmet stickers: 2017 Helmet Rules
Vehicle: They will be tech inspected for safety before the race.
Passengers: Allowed, must sign waiver.
Minors: Drivers must have signed release from parents on file. Passengers, 12-18, must have signed release form by parents on file. Waiver is valid for 1 year.
Spectators: Allowed, must sign waiver and stay in designated spectator area. NO DRONES ALLOWED.
Lunch: Please bring a bag lunch.

You will be required to attend the driver's meeting. We will be holding the driver's meeting at one point AFTER 8:30a.m. If you happen to arrive AFTER 8:30a.m., but before the driver's meeting, you will still be allowed to race, HOWEVER, there will be a $15 penalty added above and beyond your race fees. This penalty does NOT apply to first time racers.
Work Assignments:
All competitors are required to perform work assignments when they're not running. Failure to do so could result in disqualification. If you have a special circumstance, such as a disability, please make the event staff aware at registration check-in.
