Experienced Driver(Solo/Super) Turn One Track Day

Carolina Motorsports Park

About this event

Turn One provides opportunities for the novice all the way through the seasoned racers to experience Carolina Motorsports Park. For people with little to no on track experience we offer a High Performance Drivers’ Education (HPDE) group to learn more about their high performance cars and to improve general driving skills.($350.00 per day or if a two day event $560.00 for both days) We have a Solo group for a higher level of skill drivers who can safely drive on track with similarly skilled drivers.($250.00 per day or if a two day event $400.00 for both days) HPDE drivers move into the Solo group upon obtaining the necessary skills. In both the HPDE and Solo groups there are controlled passing zones. There is a Super Solo group for experienced drivers (licensed racers or drivers approved by the Chief Instructor) with track prepared cars and instructors to be on track with less restrictive passing rules. We also include a limited number of days that we allow open wheel drivers to participate. You will be asked to become a member of CMP there is no cost for this.

Event requirements

You will need to bring your completed Tech form (completed by the garage or mechanic of your choice). The Staff will complete a brief Tech, checking for brakes lights, making sure that there are no fluid drips and that there is nothing in your car that could shift drawing your attention away from your driving.  Please refer to the Inspection/Tech form found on our website. www.carolinamotorsportspark.com
