The 2019 ExciteGP: Team Battle is officially here! After many request, we will be running the ExciteGP Team Battle the day after Formula Drift Atlanta.
ExciteGP: Team Battle is a style focused event, designed to give teams a fun competition without the loss of seat time. Grassroots teams will be battling against teams of Formula Drift Pro and Pro2 drivers! This full day event gives drivers the maximum amount of seat time like you would see at an open practice event. No one enjoys sitting in line all day to make a few laps or only drive with their team.
The event format is simple. There will have an open practice session from 12PM to 2:30PM to allow teams to drive together freely. NO RUN GROUPS!! At 3PM, there will be a team intro. Teams will make (2) team runs. The best of the two runs will be marked as the teams score and a winner will be decided. Drivers that are not apart of a team are welcome to join for the open sessions before and after the comp.
At the end of the competition, the track will be open for hot lapping for all drivers until 7PM!!!!
Event requirements
ExciteGP: Team Battle Requirements:
-Drivers must be of Advanced or Intermediate skill level. No beginner or novice drivers will be allowed. (we will be extremely strict on driver experience!!)
-All vehicles must be presentable with ALL body panels, all panels painted, etc. Please do not show up with OEM wheels as drift spares.
-Minimum of 3 drivers per team. Teams will be capped at 7 drivers total.
-All drivers will be required to pass a basic tech provided by iTrack Motorsports
-All drivers will be required to use a SA2010+ rated helmet
-All non-team drivers will be required to follow the same vehicle guidelines as team drivers. (complete and presentable cars)
When you register, please list the team you will be driving with. We will allow all team members to sign up individually.
