About this event
Drive for Donations
December 12, 2020
With the increasing cases of Covid-19 in Arizona, this year there will be a “Drive for Donations” for the Yavapai County Food Bank in lieu of a holiday party. And you don’t even have to drive to donate!
There are many people in Yavapai County who are struggling during the pandemic, the food pantry shelves are bare, and you can help! We have supported the Yavapai County Food Bank in the past, and we all need to step up again!
Please join us for a fun drive on December 12th and donate to the Yavapai County Food Bank. The Yavapai County Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) organization.
When you register for this event on MSR, you will make a $25 donation per person. This is less than what a holiday dinner event might have cost. Please consider also making an additional donation, the need is great. Additional donation checks will be collected during the drive (checks made out to Yavapai County Food Bank).
Each entry will receive a raffle ticket for a Griot's Garage gift bag worth $70. The drawing will be held along the route. The winner does not need to be present to win. So even if you can’t make the drive, register to win! |
The drive will depart at 10:00 am from the Maverick Station at Fain Road and Highway 69. Please arrive at 9:30 am for the drivers’ meeting. The route will take us over Mingus Mountain, through Jerome, Clarkdale, Old Town Cottonwood, Page Springs, Village of Oak Creek and ending in Camp Verde at the Community Center Park, where the raffle drawing will be held. There are a number of places along the route to join in the drive. If you are joining along the route, please contact Bob Frith at bob911az@gmail.com to coordinate.
Please register no later than Friday, December 11th
