Solo events are driving skill contests that emphasize the driver's ability and the car's handling characteristics. This is accomplished by driving a course that is designated by traffic cones on a low hazard location, such as a parking lot or inactive airstrip. While speeds are no greater than those normally encountered in legal high-way driving, the combination of concentration and car feedback creates an adrenaline pumping experience.
Oscoda is a great little welcoming town with one heck of a concrete pad to race on. Please do yourself a favor and do not ignore this event thinking it is just "too far", the drive is beautiful and most importantly "worth it".
There will be a test and tune Friday for those looking to spend some time dialing in their set ups.
Saturday’s event will be a two autocross event with runs in the morning and afternoon.
Sunday will be a standard solo first thing in the morning.

Pre-registration is available and encouraged.
We enforce SCCA sound rules at all of our events.
Port-a-johns will be utilized at this site.
Trophies are handed out at the end of the event after the course is cleared of cones and the event truck is packed.
*Detroit Region Pro Class: Register in Pro. Run with you class. Pro Class competitors will be broken out after event for Region scoring for both the regular class and the Pro class. If the weather changes, Pro class will be scored per heat.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST CHECK IN AT REGISTRATION!
CHECK IN TIMES ARE:
- FRIDAY, August 5th, 5:00-8:00 PM
- SATURDAY August 6th, 7:00-9:00 AM
- SUNDAY August 7th, 8:00-8:15 AM.
You must provide a valid driver's license.
Minor competitors (under the age of 18) MUST provide a minor waiver with BOTH parent's signatures.
