Welcome to the Sonoma Raceway 1-Day Club Race at Sonoma Raceway for Thursday August 25, 2016 prior to O'fest.
The goal of this 1-day event is to give BMW CCA Club Racers the opportunity to race on the awesome Sonoma Raceway - especially for those from out of region. Laguna might be more famous, but Sonoma is considered many racers favorite track.
This will also be the only Sonoma event of the year for the Pacific Region.
There will be an early-morning chalk-talk, 1 practice session, a qualifying session and 2 short races. We want people to get to know the track and get in 2 races, but we want to save the cars and tires for the upcoming races at O'fest.
The gates will be open all day on Wednesday so you can arrive any time but we will not be able to get into the paddock until later in the day. We will be staged in parking lot over-looking the track til later in the day - updates to follow.
$389, 4 sessions, 2 races, 105 minutes. Optional - $60 Garage
Event requirements
Our hosts for this event will be Hooked on Driving. We have worked with them before and they are great. We will have the full-professional advanced safety team in place, proper timing and scoring, plenty of paddock space, access to the excellent garages. Go here to sign up and pay for the event and a garage (if you want one).
To sign up, you will need to register on HOD and put in all your car info and all. It might take a few minutes, but each racer needs to do that.
You do not need to join “Team HOD” to do this event. Don’t worry about filling the car mods section. Don’t worry about filling in the experience section.
When registering, put the following info in the comments section at the end…
1.) Car number
2.) BMW CCA Club Racing – Car Class
3.) AMB transponder number
4.) Who you want to garage next to
* If you do not know your transponder number we can fill it in later.
