About this event
BMW CCA Club Racing is returning back to Motor Sport Ranch Cresson, TX, May 29th and 30th. This weekend is a Memorial to honor a dear friend, past Lone Star Chapter President and Club Racer, Nick Papayianis.
In addition to the Club Race, a new venue, Time Trails (TT) has been added for those who want to complete, but do not want race Door to Door. We will be running the 1.7 mile track in the COUNTER-CLOCKWISE direction both days.
BMW CCA Club Racing Details:
We want to open up our Club Racing to Non-BMW CCA licensed racers. If you have never had a BMW CCA competition license, you will need to have a competition license from a series like PCA, NASA, SCCA, or IMSA. Chump, LeMons, or WRL, AER, etc. licenses are not accepted. Your license cannot be provisional, rookie or on suspension/probation.
You will need to be a BMW CCA member. To encourage others we will give you a $58, one year’s membership, refund towards your entry fee upon proof of membership. Link to BMW Club registration: https://www.bmwcca.org/
You will need to get a provisional license from us: https://bmwccaclubracing.com/how-to-race-with-us/#link_acc-1-3-d (this converts to full competition status after 4 safe events). We will refund $50 towards your first year of purchase upon proof of payment. This is yet another incentive to get other folks to race with us.
Cars need to be log booked in the series they are coming from and show proof of an annual tech inspection. Racers also need to meet our safety equipment rules (both driver and car). Link to: BMW CCA Club Racing .
We will identify and acknowledge out of series class winners at the event.
