About this event
This will be an SCCA Trek Rally, the first of its kind, and will include a drive on the famous Tail of the Dragon. A Trek is a non-competitive, follow-the-leader rally and we'll wind through some interesting roads and beautiful countryside in the North Carolina mountains, with a great meal in the middle.
This event is open to everyone, including SCCA members and non-members. We'll provide a FREE weekend SCCA membership for non-members.
We'll meet and get organized from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Sept. 21 at Bradley Square Mall in Cleveland, TN, near the Dunham's Sporting Goods store.
Then a quick driver's meeting and we're off, abiding by all posted speed limits. All street legal vehicles, including vintage, are eligible.
Lunch will be at the Tapoco Lodge near Robbinsville, NC. After that, we'll return on the beautiful Cherohala Skyway, or you'll be free to explore other mountain roads and venues on your own.
Our rallymaster will be SCCA member Steve Rogers. Chattanooga Regional Executive Beth Cox is the organizer. The entry fee is $10 per car, a portion of which goes to national SCCA and a small portion to our local, non-profit SCCA region.
Event requirements
