PCA Chesapeake’s Tour & Rally Committee will begin the 2021 driving season with two editions of one warm-up event. As it did in August 2018, our Catoctin Mountain Tour this year will take us on an 80-mile drive through some of the most enjoyable back roads in Carroll and Frederick counties. This tour will take place in the afternoon. With the COVID-19 pandemic still not behind us, lunch at a restaurant will not be part of the program.

April 18, 2020, Sunday, weather permitting.
Assembly time: 1:00 PM; meeting 1:15; departure 1:30
Assembly point: Kecco’s, 114 Westminster Pike, Reisterstown, MD
Route: Through Baltimore, Carroll and Frederick Counties
Pit stop: 2:30-3:00 PM, Burger King, 427 N. Church St., Thurmont, MD
ETA at finish line: 4:00 PM, Safeway, 815 E. Main St, Middletown, MD
PARTICIPATION
Registrstion for this event will be First-come, First-served and limited in capacity. Waitlisted registrants will be given priority for the tour’s 2nd edition at 25 April 2021.
Participants must wear masks and observe social distancing, per CDC, state and county guidelines. While we are striving to make this event safe, with your Participation in and Registration for this tour you recognize and acknowledge the hazards of COVID-19, and you assume the risk of illness or death arising from a COVID-19 infection at this event. Note that planned events are subject to change, postponement or cancellation for weather or other reasons.
Event requirements
Participants must be PCA members (in good standing) to participate in the Catoctin Mountain Tour event. The parents or grandparents of minor participants must be present at the rally, and must complete a "Parental Consent, Release and Waiver of Liability" form. The minor participant must complete a "Minor's Assumption of Risk Acknowledgement" form. All participants must complete a “Waiver and Release of Liability" form. REQUIREMENTS
The below requirements must be met by each participant on the day of the event. Organizers will not have additional materials available on-site for participants who neglect to bring any of the below items.
A face mask must be worn by every participant when outside his or her car
Even when inside their cars, participants must wear face masks when talking to a rally master or rally marshal through their open windows.
Printed waiver. Participants are responsible for printing the waiver prior to the event.
NOTE: Not meeting or having any of the above requirements will result in disqualification.
