High Plains Raceway is NOT JUST FOR RACERS!
Everyone is welcome at our Open Lapping Days. Virtually any type of car is allowed and no previous race track experience is necessary. There are NO SPEED LIMITS and NO SPEEDING TICKETS! It’s a fun way to challenge yourself, improve your skills and have a great time in a controlled and safe environment!
This day will have special hours to allow the 24@5280 teams to see the track at night and test lights.
7:00 am - Noon track cold
11:40 am afternoon lapping drivers meeting
Noon - 4:00 pm afternoon lapping
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm break for dinner and drivers meeting for the 24@5280 race
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm WRL 24@5280 drivers meeting
6:10 pm evening lapping drivers meeting
6:30 pm - 10:30 pm evening lapping
Half-day lapping $100 online, $120 at the track
Full-day lapping $160 online, $180 at the track
ALL FEES ARE PER DRIVER. EACH DRIVER MUST REGISTER INDIVIDUALLY IN ORDER TO DRIVE DURING THE LAPPING DAY.
Instructors and helmet rentals are available.
