Driver Education at Arroyo Seco Raceway

Saturday Only - Drivers education is just $125.00 Early registration discount.
Registration Fee after April 20th is $145.00
Tech & Registration 7:30 – 8:00 am Driver’s Meeting 8:00 - 8:30 am Beginner Track Tour 8:45 am First car out at 9:00 am
We will be offering three run groups: Green:novice Blue:intermediate Red:advanced+instructor You will receive at least five sessions on the track.
Arroyo Seco Raceway is located about 90 miles from El Paso 30 miles from Las Cruces west off I-10 interstate at the Akela Flats exit #102 Please give yourself enough time to arrive on time.
Please bring your beverages and something to eat for lunch. Apache homelands across the highway also serves hot food(hamburgers and such but a little slow on service) There is gas available across the highway at the Akela flats Exxon gas station.
Come on out for a chance to get some valuable driver instruction and track time!
Event requirements
All participants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license to participate drive on the track or participate in any driving event.
Drivers meeting is MANDATORY!! You must attend the drivers meeting to be able to get on the track!
The car owner must certify that the car is safe to run on the track and a completed Tech Form signed by the driver is to be submitted to the region at the event. We will be doing a spot check at the track before the event.
Tech Sheets are mandatory to get on the track and can be downloaded from the Carrera Region website(https://carreraregionpca.org/event-registration/ ). Once at the Carrera Region website, scroll down and click on the "Tech Sheet" hyperlink. The tech sheet is a self tech please fill out the tech sheet or have a facility tech your vehicle, sign it and bring it with you to the track.
Helmet certifications: Snell 2010 or newer. Motorcycle dot helmets are NOT allowed. A limited number of loaner helmets will be available at the track.
Closed-toe shoes are required.
No lug-sole type boots or open toe shoes allowed.
Long sleeve shirt and long pants are suggested and highly encouraged, but NOT required.
