Car Control Clinic (workers) - Oct 1

Crows Landing

About this event

This registration form is for volunteer workers (instructors and staff) only. If you wish to register as a student, please use the student registration form. Student registration typically opens 4-6 weeks before the event. Please check GGC’s MSR page to see if the student registration form is available.

Please register early, so that we can more easily plan the event. If you have not previously volunteered for a Golden Gate Chapter Car Control Clinic event, please contact the coordinators.

Instructor candidates, please sign up as staff, and indicate under “Reason for Attending” that you are an instructor candidate. Unless you have prior instructing experience, you may want to work a couple events as a staff member to become familiar with our events prior to going through evaluation as an instructor candidate.

This will be a regular CCC using the new format introduced in 2015. If you have not worked with the new format, please contact the coordinators for training material.

This Car Control Clinic will be held at Crows Landing, near Patterson, CA. Please plan to arrive around 7:30. Students start arriving at 8:00. We will need a few instructors/staff to be present at 7:00 when the gates open to help with waivers, trailer setup, etc. Please indicate if you can arrive early.

Thank you for volunteering. We have no program without dedicated instructors and staff members.

There's an autocross fun run the next day if you want to make a weekend out of it.

If you have further questions please contact us at carcontrol@ggcbmwcca.org.

Event requirements

If you are inviting a guest, please have your guest register as early as possible. If your guest is unavailable, please contact the coordinators as quickly as possible so that the seat may be passed to another guest. Guest registrations not completed two weeks prior to the event will be given away to someone on the wait list.

Helmets are not required for regular CCCs. They are only needed for Advanced CCCs, and for CCCs held on the skidpad at Thunderhill. Helmets must meet the club’s helmet standards and must be inspected at check-in.

If you plan to use your car at the event, tech it, have a qualified mechanic tech it, or have it tech’ed on site.
