Event requirements
7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Tech on weekday events will continue to noon. Before getting into the Tech line, all loose articles in the car must be removed from the interior and trunk. This includes floor mats that are not fastened to the carpets. All hubcaps and removable wheel covers must be removed. For additional tech information check the web site.
Mandatory Driver’s Meeting
8:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. You must attend the driver’s meeting to drive. Novices must be present for 8:15 a.m. meeting, novices will not be admitted after morning meeting.
Cost, Membership and Identification
The entry fee is $150 and Co-driver Registration entry fee is $100. You must be a current BMW ACA Portland, BMW CCA, Mini, or Tri-Club member to register for the event.
BMW ACA Club annual membership fee is $40.
A Club Membership I.D., a valid driver’s license, and insurance card carrier/policy numbers are required.
Cancellation Policy for HPDE Events
We will accept cancellations up to the registration deadline and you will receive a credit towards a HPDE event in the same calendar year. If you cancel your registration past the registration deadline but before the event day we will give you credit toward a future BMWACA Portland HPDE event of your choice in the same calendar year; if we can fill your slot at the track. If not, then there is no credit.
Once we have confirmed your participation and you have paid the registration fee only you can cancel your registration. All Credits are non-transferable.
We reserve the right to reassign the run group you are in based on our judgment of your experience and vehicle capabilities.
You and your passenger must wear a Snell 2000 or later approved helmet (SA or M Snell rated). Roll bars or factory rollover protection is required for convertibles, T-tops and open cars. A securely mounted (interior) 1A10BC fire extinguisher is highly recommended. Brakes must be in good condition with fresh brake fluid recommended. Tires must be in good condition and properly inflated. Wheel bearings and all suspension components must be in good condition. Wheel lugs should be tightened to manual specs. Motor mounts and battery must be secure. Maximum one passenger allowed per car. The driver and passenger MUST wear a combination seat belt/shoulder belt. No one under 18 is allowed on the track or in any hazardous areas.
