Would you like to experience your toes in the sand, run or walk on the beach, maybe enjoy a beach fire with smores, then this is the tour for you!

In the past we have driven to Portland and Astoria, but this time we are going to enjoy Seaside, OR.  This tour is an overnighter on May 15-16. We will meet at BMW Northwest(4011 20th St E, Tacoma) in their pre-owned center which is next to the new car facility at 8AM for our safety briefing and a chance to look at some of the beautiful cars in the BMW NW collection. We will leave at 8:30 AM and explore some fun roads as we head South to cross the border into Oregon one of my favorite places because it is close and beautiful. In the past we have had a good time stopping at Jayden's German Store in South Bend and purchasing some amazing goodies which we will do again. I was there in March and pleased to see this small business is still operating and the owner is thrilled that we will be coming.

Lodging arrangements have been made at Seaside's EBB-Tide Oceanfront Inn, which is providing fantastic weekend rates. I will do my best to find a restaurant that can accommodate us in a group dinner, potentially in Cannon Beach which is just a short drive south of Seaside, but again, this will depend on what restrictions are in place for dining.  There will be room for 15 cars(15 rooms). There is a $30 per person non-refundable charge for the tour.

As much as I would like to think that we will be close to being finished with COVID restrictions I know that is a pipe dream. Thus, we will observe all the rules in place for both WA and OR which will be emailed to the participants prior to the 15th.

So, bring your ingredients for smores, beach blanket, beach chairs and we might be able to have a beach fire, weather permitting, late in the evening.
