About this event
The final PCA rally of 2018 will be held on Saturday September 29. This one is photos only, no crazy gimmick questions or speed limit signs to count.
We will meet at 10:00am behind Starbucks, 400 E. Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy MD 21771. After a short drivers meeting, teams will set off on a challenging drive through the farms and countryside of Northern Maryland. Teams will have a number of pictures of barns and bridges that they will have to locate and identify along the way. Bridges are easy; barns not so much! The drive is approximately 65 miles and should take teams about 2.5 hours to complete. The final destination is the Shamrock Restaurant on Rt. 15 in Thurmont MD. Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams. A 3-course lunch is included for both driver and navigator in the registration cost of $60/car.
Due to the size restrictions of the restaurant, this event is limited to the first 20 cars to register. We will maintain a waiting list in case of last minute cancellations.
Event requirements
No previous experience doing a rally is necessary, but this drive is very challenging, with lots of twists and tight turns. Consider yourself warned!!
