Audi Club RMC Gold Belt driving tour

This drive takes us south to Cañon City, but we take the long way via Cripple Creek. We stop in Cripple Creek with a visit to the heritage center. Ever driven skyline drive in Cañon City? I haven’t but I’ve always wanted to. Skyline drive is a single lane, one way road over the hog back on the edge of Cañon City. Go slow and should be fine. You can always bypass it if you don’t feel comfortable driving the single lane road on top of the hog back. Once we reach downtown Cañon City, our tour ends. There are no defined lunch plans so everyone is free to decide for themselves if they want to eat someplace or head out.

Total tour time is estimated at 5hours and 135 miles.

Mandatory drivers meeting will be held at 8 am, prior to departing.

Our starting location is Simply Euro auto repair in Castle Pines, between Denver and Castle Rock.

Please have your car gassed up, drinks, snacks, and restroom break completed so we can leave at 8:30am. There will be restrooms at our starting location, Simply Euro. A map will be provided of the route to every car.

You do not have to be an Audi Club member to participate. So, invite your friends!

IMPORTANT!
We ask that everyone abide by the Colorado state guideline, those vaccinated do not have to wear a mask, but our stops at business along the way may require a mask. This is considered an outdoor event. This event will be considered concluded when we reach downtown Cañon City. All participants will need to sign an event liability waiver and communicable disease waiver prior to starting the tour. These waivers will be all online based, using your phone to sign them electronically. We will not have paper waivers to sign in person.
