About this event
The school will be held Sunday April 29th from 09:00am - 5:00pm at Castrol Raceway.
Below is a preliminary list of the training, but some will be weather dependent.
· General Registration: Waivers plus membership forms for ARM.
· General Information Session: Alberta Race Marshals team goals to provide proper and advanced training, safety, and teamwork while still having fun on the track.
· Live Fire School: Will be done at a later date.
Lunch: Will be provided. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions.
· Track Familiarization: This will include a track walk from corner to corner to explain the dangers and corner coverage at each station. Paul Conquest will be providing the Track Junkies bus ride, stopping at each corner, with an explanation from a driving instructor to understand how the track looks from the drivers perspective.
· Track Simulation: This will include the marshals to interact with communications and flagging.
· Marshal Training: We will cover flagging, responding and communicating in this module.
