Event requirements
Apex Driving Events allows drivers to self-select the run group which best suits their skill level.In certain cases we will re-group drivers during the event for safety reasons.
Solo:
The Solo Driver understands flags, proper passing techniques, and the line. It is similar to many other groups/clubs "Blue" or "intermediate" run groups.
Advanced Solo:
The Advanced Solo Driver has mastered lap to lap consistency and has highly developed car control. The Advanced Solo is for high level drivers who typically run in"red", "advanced", or "instructor" group at other events.
Apex has a strict policy regarding any unsafe or dangerous driving during our events. We encourage our drivers to enjoy the events and work towards improving their abilities, BUT we will black flag any drivers we perceive to be driving in a manner over their head and outside of their respective abilities. All drivers will be held accountable for their actions; unsafe and dangerous driving will not be tolerated. We expect all drivers to be actively aware of their surroundings and to report any issues to Apex Personnel as soon as they occur. We also expect all drivers to learn A LOT and have a blast!
