ROUTE AND HIGHLIGHTS - 

Our journey begins at the Ruby River Steakhouse/Ramada Inn located in Provo, where we’ll gather and prepare for our 3-hour and 16-minutes’ drive covering 191 miles.  From there, we’ll take a scenic drive along US-6 up to Tie Fork Rest Area for our first quick pit stop to stretch our legs.  Onward on US-6 E up Soldier Summit and down to Caste Gate to Sinclair Gas Station in Price for our second pit stop to stretch our legs and freshen up.  Afterward, we’ll continue-on US-6 to Love’s Travel Stop in Green River for our third pit stop to stretch our legs and freshen up, before we get on I-70 to exit US-191 to our destination the Apache Motel in Moab, UT.

MEETING POINTS -

For tourers coming from the Northern Utah to Moab, Utah - Your meeting point will be along the north side of the Ruby River Steakhouse/Ramada Inn located in Provo, Utah.  From I-15 southbound, take exit 263.  Turn right at the exit light, then left at the next light onto 189 North and University Ave, then take a left at the following light toward the mall, and another left immediately into the parking lot.

The meeting time is 7:30 am, 8:15 am at the LATEST please. After a driver's meeting, we will depart at 8:30 am.  This will only apply if 2 driving groups are required: First group will depart at 8:30 and second group will depart about 15 minutes later.

The staggered departures are for safety, courtesy to other drivers on the road, and to also not overwhelm the parking lot size, restroom facilities, or gas pumps at the three planned bio-Breaks stops, or the one fuel stop along the way.

ARRIVAL AT APACHE MOTEL MOAB UTAH -

While not all in the group may plan to stay at the Apache Motel, our tour is scheduled to end there on Friday.

Waiver signing for newbies!

Clicking on the waiver request link: https://irpca.speedwaiver.com/yilnf, from either your computer or your phone, will open a file which will ask for your first and last name and the number of the mobile phone that you want the waiver sent to. Click the box that confirms that you are 18 years or old, and then click on "send waiver link".  This will send the waiver "invitation" to your mobile phone as a text message.

The text message will have a box that says, "Tap to Load Preview". Tap twice to bring up the form.  Then you will be asked to allow your current location. Click "Allow".  This simply records when and where you signed.  Then click the box that consents to use your electronic signature at the end of the process. Then click "next".  Now you will be presented with permissions to allow the use of your phone camera to take your own photo.  Follow the photo instructions to take your picture, then click next, accept the photo at the button on the top, then scroll to the bottom and sign with your finger.  Finally click "next" and you will see a message that says "You're all set" with a big green check mark.  Click continue and KEEP this text on your phone as you may be asked to show it to the tour leader on the morning of the tour.

Now repeat this process for every person that will be in your car.  Note: you can choose to use the same mobile number for each waiver.  But you do need to download a new waiver request for each person.  This all sounds complicated until you do it once.  After that the whole process should take no longer than 1-2 minutes.
