ACNW Son of Quattrofest '15

The Ridge Motorsports Park

About this event

Join Audi Club Northwest for Son of Quattrofest 2015 on Sunday, March 22, 2015.

Welcome to the first lapping event of 2015 and another instructor-supported event at The Ridge Motorsports Park!  Audi Club Northwest has the honor of holding one of the first events of the year right in our backyard at this acclaimed track.  With cooler temperatures and a sometimes-wet surface, this event will be fantastic and a true car control experience.

The one day price of $235 includes lunch and plenty of track time.

All attendees must be ACNA/ACNW members.  You may purchase or renew membership at Audi Club North America
<http://www.audiclubna.org/membership>

All attendees must be at least 18 years of age.

This event does NOT have a Driver Skills component.  It is for drivers who have attended at least one ACNW event or equivalent from another club or driver's school. Instructors will be available to help novice drivers who have attended previous events and others who want to advance their skills.  If you attended University of Quattro on February 8th, the Driver Skills event at the Monroe Fairgrounds, that will qualify you for Son of Quattrofest.

If you have questions about qualifications or anything else, email the event master, Cris Brickey at <cris.brickey@gmail.com>.

Please indicate your driver skill level as part of the registration process online.  Instructors will be available for those who are not signed off to solo, or anyone wanting a coach.

This event will need 30 instructors that will be filled by attendees from the ACNW Instructor Clinic being staged on Saturday, March 21st.  To instruct at Son of Quattrofest you must be registered and participate in the Instructors Clinic on Saturday.  After the needed slots have filled from the Clinic or if you could not attend the Clinic, you will need to register as a driver participant in this event.  The selection choices will come up for you during the registration screens.

There are two hotels we recommend for Son of Quattrofest.  Shelton Inn, 628 West Railroad Ave, Shelton, WA 98584.  Call (800) 451-4560 and mention "The Ridge Motorsports Park" for a special discounted rate.  Super 8 Hotel, 2943 Northview Circle, Shelton, WA  98584, is also available at a discounted rate if you mention you are with the Audi Club.  Reservations can be made by calling (360) 426-1654.

Event requirements

Everyone must sign the Release and Waiver for Audi Club Northwest’s insurance coverage when coming onto the facility.  This requirement includes drivers, instructors, teens, guests and visitors.  The full text of this Release and Waiver is on the next screens.  Please read it carefully.  Parents or guardians must also sign a Teen Waiver on behalf of participating teens.  Please contact the Event Masters or Registrar prior to the event with any questions about these important documents.

Please indicate the signoff in your Log Book for driver skill level when that question appears in the registration process.  Instructors will be available for anyone who wants coaching, and for those who are not signed off to Intermediate (solo).

Convertibles and roadsters are not permitted to run high speed driver training or lapping events unless equipped with an approved aftermarket 4-point roll bar in the car and 4-point ASM(anti submarine), 5-point or 6-point harnesses. Equal restraints must be provided for both the passenger and the driver.  For example, harnesses with 4, 5, or 6 point mounts used by the driver, must also be provided for the front seat passenger.  The roll bar must pass the “broomstick rule” such that a broomstick from the top of the windshield to the top of the roll bar is over the head of the driver. The TT convertible, A4 Cabriolet and S4 Cabriolet will not qualify through tech inspection without an aftermarket roll bar.  The Audi Club North America policy is posted under Event Rules for your review <http://www.audiclubna.org/resources/driving-school-and-event-guideline>.

High-center-of-gravity vehicles are not permitted.  These include trucks, sport utility vehicles (SUVs), sport activity vehicles (SAVs), and crossover utility vehicles (CUVs).  If you have a questions about your vehicle, please ask us prior to the event.

We have 28 club helmets in various sizes available for rent ($25) on a first come, first serve basis.  If you still need a helmet but they are all rented out at the time of your registration, please make a note in the registration comments that you need one.  We cannot guarantee that one will become available however.  You will not be allowed to participate without a helmet.
