QuattroCross 2017. Sunday June 11th at The Evergreen Speedway.
Ever wondered what an autorcross on a banked oval raceway might be like?! Well look no further! QuattroCross 2017 is your chance to answer that question, many many times. For the fifth year, ACNW is hosting this all-day autocross event where you'll challenge yourself and your car on a course that includes the banked turns of Evergreen Speedway along with portions of the facilities' figure-8 course! Only 50 cars will be able to participate in the this day of autorcross fun which guarantees LOTS of runs and maximum fun! Lunch is included in your registration.
While we are the Audi club, we don't require Audi-brand cars!
Is this all new to you and you're not sure what Autocross is? Autocross is a wonderful way to learn car control and enjoy operating your car near it's limits. This form of motorsport places strong emphasis on car handling and driver skill rather than high speeds or horsepower. Autocrosses are not high speed events so wear and tear on your car is not as much of an issue as it can be for our full on lapping schools. The course uses cones to mark corners that come very rapidly to the driver. Drivers are timed one at a time from a standing start through the exit from the course, typically about one minute in total. The timing equipment permits more than one car to be underway so the groups cycle quickly and you spend less time waiting and more time driving.
Most people that attend an autocross for the first time have never attempted anything like it. Many of them come back again and again because it's just so much fun. Autocross experience is good for driver skill development and to learn about how you and your car work together for a safer experience on the streets and freeways.
If you've not been to an Audi Club event before, this event is a great first time. Happening so close to many Seattle-area locales, come out and meet the Club regulars and fellow newbies. Learn more about the Club, the other Driver Education, Lapping events and Tours. Feel free to invite friends and co-workers to this event. Admission is free to the facility, but everyone must sign the waiver when entering. You may be able to arrange rides with designated instructors to experience first hand what an autocross day is all about.
Audi Club North America membership is not required to participant at this event.

Event requirements
Everyone must sign the Release and Waiver (next screens) for Audi Club Northwest’s insurance coverage when coming onto the facility. This requirement includes drivers, instructors, teens, guests and visitors. Parents must also sign a Teen Waiver on behalf of participating teens. No exceptions. Please contact the Event Masters prior to the event with any questions.
Convertibles and Roadsters may run in the Full Autocross. Cancellation Policy for this event: It is the entrant's responsibility for preparing and bringing a vehicle meeting the technical requirements. If your car fails morning tech at the track and cannot be fixed, you will not be able to run and you will not get a refund.
- Cancellations received before the registration Closing Date (typically a week prior to the event) entitles the driver to a 100% refund.
- Cancellations received after the Closing Date, but more than three or more full days prior to the event, entitles the driver to a 50% refund.
- No refunds or credits will be given if canceled within three full days prior to the event, or a no-show.
- No refunds will be issued due to halting an event for any reason - rain, incident, etc.
If you must cancel, please do so early so that we may allow another participant into your space. Any refunds due under the cancelation policy will be issued as soon as practical after the event.
Helmets will be required for this autocross. Helmet requirement is Snell 2005 or later (SA, M or K) for the Full Autocross. Club helmets are available in several sizes for rental on a first come, first served basis. Please specify a size when registering.
Note: When meals are a part of our events, ACNW will attempt to accommodate special dietary requirements if requested. However, meals are provided by third parties and circumstances may not always enable ACNW or its vendors to meet every special dietary need.
**ATTENTION: NEW TECH INSPECTION REQUIREMENT FOR 2017**
Audi Club Northwest (ACNW) will be implementing a new policy developed by Audi Club North America (ACNA) on vehicle safety inspections and our event Tech process.
For every event, ACNW will require two (2) signatures on your Safety Inspection Checklist. View this newly updated form HERE.
- The signature at the bottom is yours. This isn't changing. It is still your car and we need you to take responsibility for its safe condition and operation. (Pretty easy so far!)
- The second “Inspected by” signature above yours is new. It is ACNW’s expectation that your car will be inspected per the areas of emphasis on the Safety Inspection Checklist form by a dealer, a local shop, or another person you believe has the technical knowledge and experience (“competent”) to properly inspect your car for safety. Ultimately it’s your responsibility to confirm that your car is safe to operate at the event, and ACNW strongly encourages you to be honest with regard to your own mechanical abilities/knowledge. Should you feel capable and confident in inspecting your own vehicle, it is permissible for the second “Inspected by” signature to be your own.
On the morning of the event, you will take your car through the Tech Line process (see below) in order to be allowed on track. However, completion of the Safety Inspection Checklist form, including the second signature, should be completed PRIOR to getting to the Tech Line process.
Tech Line Process:
Prior to getting in line for Tech:
- Visit Registration to check in and get your registration packet (with event car numbers)
- Ensure your vehicle meets all areas of the Safety Inspection Checklist form, particularly removal of all lose items from the cabin and trunk
- Apply event car numbers to car exterior (outside rear windows, if possible, on both sides)
- Complete Safety Inspection Checklist form with car number
During Tech:
- Get in line with your vehicle at designated area
- Stay in your vehicle and be prepared to participate in the process as directed by Tech Line staff
- Provide your completed Safety Inspection Checklist form (this includes 2 signatures) when requested
- Upon successful completion of the process, you’ll be given your final event sticker that signifies your vehicle is cleared for entry on track. You will place this sticker in the center of your car's windshield, at the very top.
- Return to your parking spot and be prepared for the mandatory Driver’s meeting
